ABOUT GRAYQUILL KENNEL
Grayquill is a full-time training, breeding, and importing facility in Northeast Alabama focused on building British Labradors for hunting, competition, and companion homes. British Labradors offer the best of both worlds when it comes to the field and home. Intensity, focus, and drive coupled with calmness and composure makes these retrievers some of the best tools a sportsman can have. GK’s goal is to produce eager workers to confirmation that insist on doing everything with passion and love for the sport.

Colton was raised in Northeast Alabama and continues to reside there. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. He spent five years in that field before he transitioned into full-time retriever training.
He started with one personal dog, then two, then three —picking up a client dog here and there. GK slowly picked up momentum and now Colton is busy training these dogs to an elevated standard.
Grounds
GK has a 1,600 sqft facility with a dedicated 8 acre property just for the dogs. On the grounds, you will find a 1.5 acre tech pond, a 1 acre puppy/swim-by pond, decoy field, 2 airing yards, and manicured pasture land all for the dogs. In addition, GK has access to over 500 acres of training grounds in close proximity. GK has every tool to make your retriever the best it can be.
